Once Andrew Pierce and Ashley Hudson met at their church in Hamburg they realized they could not go to the other side. Ashley was just 17 years old and hadn't had a boyfriend so the two took things really slow. It was love at first sight. Andrew asked God to do one last item on New Year's Day, just prior to 2016and that was when Ashley accepted to marry Andrew. Ashley really wanted to do the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme to symbolize Andrew and her. In order to create the perfect wedding, they decided to take a little inspiration from the things they adore. The wedding venue was the 40 acres back of the property Ashley was raised on. From the trail they walked across the fields where the couple proposed in. Ashley has explored and played on all of it. Andrew and Ashley have also explored in this spot several times since they started dating. It was important to personalize the event since they did a lot of it themselves. Andrew and Ashley's father built the seating areas and an arch to be used during the ceremony. Ashley painted many of the decors. Ashley says, "Our wedding would not have been the dreamy experience I've always dreamed of had Anna's stunning flowers hadn't been created." This is truly stunning.
